Dr. Mustafa Hammad obtained his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at The University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then went on to get his Osteopathic Medical degree (DO) from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Pennsylvania and his Medical Degree (MD) from University Health Sciences Antigua. Dr. Hammad then moved to Stony Brook, New York where he did his residency training at the State University of New York in Internal Medicine and Neurology. From there, He moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he did his fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in Clinical Neurophysiology/Neuromuscular Disorders and Sleep Medicine. From Atlanta Dr. Hammad moved to Panama City Florida to practice.
Dr. Hammad currently holds board certification and is a Diplomat of:
- The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- The American Board of Pain Medicine
- The American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians
- The American Board of Internal Medicine
- The American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology
- The American Board of Sleep Medicine
Dr. Hammad is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (F.A.C.P.) and a fellow of the Interventional Pain Physicians (F.I.P.P.) granted by the World Institute of Pain.
